Prior to coaching, Jess was VP of AI Content at Embodied, an AI Robotics company. She has managed large teams for over a decade across a variety of industries, including a global media network, a Fortune 100 company, and multiple venture-backed tech companies, navigating the same terrain many leaders face every day.
Jess is also a 2x Emmy Award–winning journalist trained in storytelling and high-stakes negotiation, and she teaches at Columbia University, where she distills complex leadership concepts into repeatable frameworks in her graduate courses “The Compelling Communicator” and “Presence and Persuasion for Tech Leaders.” Her work has earned widespread recognition, such as inclusion on Real Leaders' 2025 list of the nation's top executive coaches, a coveted spot on the Millennial 100 list, and a prestigious Fulbright Fellowship.
