With a background in strategy consulting and entrepreneurship followed by a career as an author and comedian, Laurence bridges the gap between IQ and EQ in a way that allows systems to relax and find their own way back to insight, clarity and flow.
After starting his career in consulting at McKinsey & Co, Laurence’s lifelong quest for purpose and flow saw him launch online services pioneer AOL in Europe, manage deal generation at PE firm Advent International, co-found a European technology start-up and write and produce his own one-man show at The Edinburgh Festival.
In addition to his corporate work Laurence has performed as a stand up comedy in London and Los Angeles, authored two books on optimism, flow and creativity, and has recently launched a new podcast: The Enlightened Overachiever. He is trained in Organizational Constellations, the Leadership Circle Profile, IFS and has an MBA from INSEAD.
Today he lives in South England with his wife, three children and two even younger cats. He loves walking, comedy and skiing but spends much of his free time mediating tantrums and tidying the kitchen while attempting to listen to inspirational podcasts.
