We know what it’s like to be a gay male leader in a heteronormative world.
There’s power in understanding; that’s why Gay Men’s Leadership Circles are here for you. We build on our shared foundations to help you grow as a person and scale your leadership and business to new heights.
How Gay Men’s Leadership Circles Help:
Growth Through Community: No matter what you face in your professional or personal life, the circles offer a safe space where everyone appreciates who you are and what you want to accomplish. You will find yourself forging new connections and friendships and growing as a person and a leader. You can access our alumni network and meet with a close-knit group of leaders at all stages of their careers.
Actionable Executive Guidance: We believe in community, but as business leaders, we also understand the importance of actionable guidance and measurable results. The circles will connect you with executives who can provide honest feedback, helping you to tap into your own answers. We also leave time to hear hard-earned advice so you can learn alternative perspectives.
Nourish a Leadership Mindset: There’s nothing simple about being a leader, especially for gay men who rarely encounter representative role models in their careers. Your time at the circles will connect you with inspiring and accomplished gay leaders, improving self-confidence and modeling a highly effective leadership mindset.
World-Class Tools and Training: The circles equip you for success by providing training and tools from business veterans. Whether you’re an emerging or established leader, their toolsets will help you overcome your growth challenges and materialize your business’ true potential. You’ll find enrichment in your personal and professional lives through new friendships and mentors.
What to Expect from Gay Men’s Leadership Circles:
Each circle is carefully curated to bring together 6 to 10 gay male executives with similar leadership and personal goals. To ensure members can discuss even the trickiest challenges, circles are designed to be completely safe spaces. As such, everything members share is kept confidential. This is a place where you can safely explore how your personal life affects your business and how your business affects your personal life.
Each circle is also facilitated by globally credentialed executive coaches. These coaches will be available to answer your specific business questions, but they’ll also conduct leadership training with guided peer coaching and accountability. You’ll find that seeing the men behind the suits is just as instructive as their expertise.
Circles are entirely tailored to their participants’ needs, but here are a few examples of commonly explored topics:
Experiences as a gay male leader in 2023
Moving away from Powerless to Powerful and Navigating the Drama Triangle
Developing a stronger Leadership Mindset
Understanding and strengthening Psychological Safety
Navigating personal and professional transitions
Planning for goals and accountability
You’ll also get access to a one-on-one pre-launch coaching session to find more clarity in your goals before discussing them with the group. Sessions are held every two to three weeks. In the interim, Circle members can communicate on a dedicated Slack channel for real-time advice and collaboration. Once you commit, the Circle will hold you accountable to participate in every session, missing no more than one.
Ready to grow? We’d love to have you join our community.
